EEA Meeting 2015 in Peniche, Portugal

The Portuguese Association for the Study and Conservation of Elasmobranchs, the Marine Resources Research Group of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria  and Flying Sharks were hosting the 19th EEA Annual Scientific Meeting from the 9th to the 11th of October 2015 at the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology, in Peniche, Portugal.

The conference provided a platform for those involved in international science and policy and aimed to help coordinate the information necessary for the development and implementation of management measures for rays and sharks in European waters.

Dr. Samuel Gruber was the meeting’s key-note speaker.
